problems in the gut area?,,,,

Hi Not sure if your on the right site. This is MENCAP and deals with issues regarding people with Learning Disabilities etc and their carers. Just to make you aware.
Dear 001bear, your problems may not be food related at all. Having an overactive thyroid and going through the menopause are both things that can make you feel terrible and you have other health problems too. Dr Sarah Myhill treats people with ME etc and has a very helpful website.
As you've had some tests but still feel wretched I'd ask gp for a review, perhaps he could refer you for an abdominal ultrasound etc.
As I really into health supplements and I know these maybe too expensive for some people. If you could maybe try a good probiotic supplement to take before food in the morning. I always listen to Liz Earle on YouTube she has a lot of information on different subjects that might help you identify how you feel. Optibac is a company that the probiotics are not too expensive. Have you ever tried organic kefir, this is really like a natural probiotic and it's a bit like yoghurt but not so strong as some of them. Wish you well. Also Homeopathic remedies are not very expensive to try. You could ask for advice from Ainsworths Homeopathic Pharmacy in London. If you wanted to ring them and tell them your symptoms.
