Who regulates and inspects mencap homes that aren't registered with the cqc.
Who makes sure that managements are effectively running in the professional manner.
Do tenants get interaction with professional bodies to ensure their needs are met happy etc?
Hi there. The CQC is the Independent regulator of all Health and Social Care Services in England.You can contact them to report any concerns you have about any care home.
You can also contact Social Services and report any concerns you have about an adult or child to their Safe Guarding Team and named Social Worker who will escalate things quickly.

What if concerns have been raised to cqc and social services and nothing is being done.

It says "We take it very seriously when a service is rated as Requires Improvement or Inadequate, because this means that the quality of life for people in services isn't as good as it should be.
If this happens, the Quality team will support our operational colleagues within the service as soon as possible to develop and monitor an improvement plan."
