Hi all,
I am applying to be a Personal Welfare Deputy for my son. I have to send copies of my application to all NHS bodies involved in his care and treatment.
It's straightforward to contact his GP and some others but I need to write to two hospital Trusts and in these cases I don't know who to address these papers to because I have never met the staff concerned.
With the hospital I wondered about sending the documents to the lead learning disability nurse. The other Trust covers dentistry so I have asked his supported living provider if he sees an individual dentist who could be contacted.
I do wonder with these large NHS bodies if it's better to write to someone in the hospital hierarchy, which would cover aspects of his care under various departments, but I can't pinpoint who would be suitable.
Can anyone advise me about this?
