Hello

Thanks for posting. It is lovely to have you here.

You might find the Challenging Behaviour Foundation helpful, see here - challengingbehaviour.org.uk/

We also ran an expert event about this. There is lots of good advice in here too - healthunlocked.com/mencap/p...

Residential care can be tricky to answer as it will depend on lots of different things including:

> where you live

> what sort of support you need

> what sort of housing is available

We have some information about residential care on our website here - mencap.org.uk/advice-and-su...

There may also be other housing options, such as supported living. Here is a bit more information about this - mencap.org.uk/advice-and-su...

But it would be great if you could talk to someone about exactly what you need. Our helpline can help with that - you can call them on 0808 808 1111, or email helpline@mencap.org.uk.

I really hope this helps a little

thanks

Sarah
