Personal Independent payment and universal credit- you should be able to get, I think - proof of disability from doctor and or teacher

I presume you mean benefits for yourself and not your daughter. If your a full time carer for your daughter you should be able to claim CARERS allowance. If you look after your daughter for more than 35 hrs per week you would be entitled to this. If your on benefits yourself you would qualify for this benefit, you would not be financially better off but your National Insurance Contributions would be covered by DWP ensuring you would receive your full state pension when you retire. If you do work there is a limit to what you can earn, I don’t know this so you would need to check this to see if you qualify. You could get in touch via telephone with your local Carers Centre if you have one, or citizens advice centre or even the benefits office itself for advice regarding this or someone on here might be able to advise.

My young person gets both pip and

Universal credit she has a DID card which you can only get when you get pip or flat so that is proof of benefits to save taking documents and just show yr card instead

She also has an access card which gets you certain things but just sent it off to get a mask emblem on it as she has anxiety and can’t wear a mask all good

Hi can you please explain what a DID card is and how you get one? Also what is an access card, never heard of either of these. Thanks
