Hi Mommeme

If Sainsbury's have sent you an email stating that you have priority for shopping of course you can use it because the government are sending supermarkets lists of people's names that are classified as priority customers. Even thou that you haven't filled in anything or anything else. Other people can put your name forward if they feel that you are a priority and it's for the government to say if you are or not once they have given your to the NHS are my New post of update on the government registering for extra help. I know a lot of people haven't had a letter from the NHS saying that you are a priority user for the purpose of getting shopping delivered. You have to realise that the NHS are overwhelmed by the coronavisus outbreak and are struggling to meet the needs of seriously I'll people who have been admitted became of the coronavisus. So letter sending a about coronavisus to people who are classified as a priority customer/ Person takes the back seat as a priority letter. When they have more pressing issues to deal with. So yes use the letter that you are a priority for at Sainsbury's. Good luck and stay safe. Peter

Thank you Mommeme for your reply. So you know the reason why she is so scared to leave the home at the moment? Is it because of the coronavisus? Or is there an unlying reason why? Is your sister depressed or is there something else that is worrying her? Because it sounds like that your sister is suffering from a mental health issue like a nervous breakdown? It must be very hard for you and your sister but especially you. I would if I was you contact your GP or out of hours mental health helpline and discuss with them how you feel about your sister's behaviour I take it that she doesn't do this all the time I mean before the coronavisus outbreak? But for your own peace of mind and wellbeing. I would take the steps I have mentioned. But that is down to you and how you feel about the situation with your sister. I don't mean to offend you if I have got thing's wrong . And if I have then I am very sorry for that. Your situation is going to be a very difficult to do what's best for your sister. You know your sister better than anyone else. I am only trying to give you advice on what I may do if I was in your position. I wish you and your sister all the best for the future and I hope that you can get the help that you need in regards to your sister. Good luck and take good care of yourselves and stay safe always. If I can be of any further help please contact me again if you wish. This topic is very sensitive if you want to send me a private messages that Is fine with me okay ! Take care. Peter

Thanks

She does suffer from depression. the reason she scared to leave house at the moment is because of virus. before lock down she went to day centre 3 times a week.

and loved going shopping. i have already spoken to doctor. Going to see if she will go walk with me later fingers crossed.

It is great that you have spoken to the doctor about this.

I hope your walk went well, it can really help to get out for some exercise.

A lot people are worried about the virus, and finding lockdown difficult. If she's anxious you might find some useful support on Anxiety UK's website - anxietyuk.org.uk/coronanxie...

Good luck with your shopping too. It would be really good to know how you get on.

Best wishes

Sarah
