Does anyone have a good mood board to help you say how you are feeling without words? I can't find a good one and it would be very useful.

thanks

Hi Frumpyfish. Many years ago I made my son small mood cards with emoji type faces to help him show others his mood/feelings, I laminated them and he put them on a key chain(a child friendly key chain) and he was able to take them to school/clubs and better express himself. He is almost 27 now and he still carries them in his bag wherever he goes, they definately had a positive effect for him and were much easier to carry around than a board. I hope this helps and keep us updated. Best wishes.

We also have some well loved ones but it really helped when my daughter couldn't express herself any other way.

Anything that promotes a sense of confidence/wellbeing for our loved ones is so very important. As they grow we can't be with them 24/7 so it is so important to provide anything that will make them feel less anxious and better able to cope.
