I don’t have a learning disability (my son does) and I have never been “trolled” before but I am so wary of making my opinion known on social media for fear of being judged. Even some parent forums can offer harsh criticism and nasty words of “advice” and, when I am sleep-deprived and already feeling vulnerable, it just doesn’t feel worth the effort to put myself “out there”

I am the one who has been trolled,I have LD,classic autism,severe lifelong epilepsy etc.

It happened over 6 years ago but I’m still damaged by it today.

The person groomed me,pretended to be a friend,used my blog and posts to put on a persona of someone with severe autism and LD,i didnt know she had done this-she deleted info that said she was aspie (had aspergers) and she had a job working with kids on a burns ward,plus she drove her own car and was fully verbal.

She put my life in place and I never realised it till I was getting better.

Next,she made new accounts and used them to bully me.

She wore me down,she started telling me every day to kill myself,that I was no use to society and I was a burden on my family,support staff,fellow housemates etc.

She started saying she was coming to my address and could see me or something-making me so paranoid I developed severe psychosis,I did things any person who is mentally stable would never dream of and would hate me, I hate myself still.

This is when I got sectioned into a learning disability hospital,I lost my home,my pet chickens who I had bred myself ,my support team who I loved so much and a lot more to I’m to ashamed to say.

I am waiting for my appointee to pay the specialist LD councillor so over 6 years later I can finally get some support and closure,I have tried the LD team psych 3 times for councilling but it’s CBT based when I just need someone to talk to and help me process this hell.
