There probably isn't a simple solution, and you may just need to come up with coping mechanisms. Perhaps you and your partner can take turns to sleep - and make sure you sleep whenever you can.
Hi. You might also find this helpful: autism.org.uk/about/health/... - as well as the standard general ('sleep hygiene') tips, it may help you rule out any possible physical causes (such as problems with digestion or melatonin - particularly if the sleep difficulties have been going on for some time).
My daughter was the same, the spring and early summer months were the worst due to bird song etc. We installed back out blinds which helped with the early light at this time of the year. Also a clock which had rabbit ears, whilst the ears where down that was sleepy time and when they were up you could get up. I do not remember the make though
Quick update. We are doing slightly better (although the hot weather didn't help). We got one of those clocks and he loves it. We doesn't always do what the bunny says, but he does check it.
