My son tried it some years ago, unfortunately it didn’t help ☹️

Hi, I haven’t any experience myself. I recall reading a bit about it but felt a little unsure about whether to try it, worried it wasn’t all it was claiming to be. A quick google search brought up this article. I subscribe to ME Association so I know they usually only publish info which may be helpful. Would love to hear how you get on though.

Oooo, please come back to let us know how it goes and if it helps.

I have had my initial consultation which found the signs Perrin indicates in his book as true indications for fibromyalgia and start treatment on 31 August. Have been shown the exercises to do at home ie the spine turns, hot and cold compresses and massages on head, neck and back every day. A friend with long Covid tried the head massages and felt quite ill afterwards.

That's really good news, can't wait to hear how it goes. Hope you didn't have to travel too far. Sorry to hear about your friend's head massage not working. I have to do the Epley Manoeuvre or Brant Davoff head exercises to get rid of vertigo but a couple of friends cannot bear them & feel awful afterwards. I'm told that's how you're supposed to feel, shows its working (says my physiotherapist). Good luck

I went to see a ENT consultant about my vertigo and he said it was not BPPV so Epley of no use to me and recommended Cawthorne Cooksey exercises which you can Google but also NHS physio will show you how to do and they have helped a lot.

Thank you, I'll give it a go. I went to GP last week for Betahistine because I couldn't shift it myself, she recommended the Brant Davoff exercise (on youtube). Labyrinthitis was dx in 2008 then in 2016 a different gp dx Right Sided Vestibular disease. I just raises its ugly head occasionally over the years.
