Hello and Welcome. When I did Spravato treatments that were not effective, they then did TMS Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. Is that an option for you to try?

I did LENS Neurofeedback. Low Electrical Neurofeedback System. With some success after Spravato and TMS. It is not readily available and is not covered by insurance, but it was worth it for me. It didn't make the depression go away, but made it somewhat more manageable. It helped me most with anticipatory anxiety. It made it much easier for me to leave the house. It is so hard when you keep trying and trying and trying and still not getting better.

Hi

Welcome to this online community

I’m sorry you are not feeling well, but I think it’s good you are trying to seek out ways to fight this illness.

I’ve battled depression and anxiety since childhood and realize that it is not curable but treatable. I have run the gambit of therapists, meds, treatments etc.

For me, and others, fighting this illness requires a PLAN- it’s not just meds or therapy

Here is my list, hope it helps, keep up the fight

Meds, talk therapy, a support system, daily sunshine, daily walk/exercise, healthy boundaries with people, a daily purpose, journaling, spirituality, and hobbies/something I enjoy

Usually when I start to slide, I realize my life is out of balance and I’m neglecting areas of the plan

It’s time for me to make adjustments and get back to doing the things I know contribute to my wellbeing

You got this, small steps, things will get better

Don’t lose hope ☀️

I get depressed the most when I do not have a plan. I agree that helps so much with day to day living. I spoke with my therapist this afternoon and we talked about just that thing.

Thanks for your response.
