IT’S FRIDAY! SO WAKE UP THOSE HIBERNATING POMS POMS AND FALL IN!! We have runners to cheer……

It’s a bit too early for these two characters to be out and about, especially up here in the chilly hills of the North East of England, but they are a reminder that better weather is on the way 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Straight to business! We have four intrepid racers all set to lace up and venture forth on Sunday.

WE HAVE the return to Ilmington of the Sausage Muncher 3        Katnap        TailChaser and        Shake-and-run running their final 10k (plus a bit) race in this Winter Series. They won’t thank me for reminding the that they will start this race with a short run up to Larkstone Hill!

Bangers and I think the famous hoodies, at the end of this run (hope the colour suits!).

WE HAVE        Sandraj39 joining the Reigate Trail Run at the beautiful Gatton Park. Sandra is sensibly sticking to the 5k run this time in order to set up a family 10k next week. The trail run is preceded by a canicross (so watch where you are putting your feet in case of a pick up failure!)

The weather for both races looks good; plenty of overnight rain but no problem for our hardy HU runners!

Great run Shakes!! I remember how much I appreciated the HU Pom Pom support when I was away from home on my own waiting to run. It is really uplifting to have so many people cheering us on. They are all amazing.

Next weekend we have a regular (or maybe irregular!) cavalry charge of runners out and about! Watch out world!!🙂
