I am over the moon to have finished this because it was touch and go on so many levels today! I woke up so nervous and honestly wanted to just crawl back into bed and pull the duvet over my head - but I didn’t, and of course now I’m home I am so pleased I didn’t.
I was a bit daft because I stuck a partial new route on at the beginning, which was much hillier than I was expecting. And even though I’ve done a fair few relatively easy 10 mile runs recently, at 10k I was crying on the inside and I couldn’t feel my knees 🤣! To say today was sheer bloody mindedness and determination would be an understatement. But massive shoutout to Cmoi because I don’t think that without Don Henley at the end that I downloaded I’d have perked up quite as much as I did!
I am very proud of myself for finishing today, but thinking of everyone else running as well was such a great help.

Tee hee do you know my knees aren’t too bad today, they’re back in the building at least. Now my hips, that’s another matter! Have no idea how I’m going to walk down the hill to work 🤣.
Ah you should see me today - I was praying I’d actually be able to get out of bed! I’ll be doing the shuffle all day methinks. Maybe I’ll buy the new issue of Runners World and shout at it 🤣 like a mad person. 😊😊😊
Haha, yeah my folks and me have to still put new laminate in 2 rooms (date not decided yet). I think I'll be crawling when that's done! I'll try to imagine I did a HM instead!
