I was really looking forward to this on Sunday, π₯Ί(Haydock racecourse)
Had worked hard at keeping some level of fitness up during the week I was unwell with quite a severe stomach bug..and had only just yesterday managed a run that felt good! So I finally thought I could look forward to it π
But I'm really just glad to be over the illness and back to my running/ strength training routine π
I got online last night and found another 10K race to enter (Run Chester Zoo) 31st of Octoberππ¦
Which looks lots of fun π
So plan this week,
ran a good 5K yesterday, (in the pouring rain)
a 10K Wednesday and my 10 Mile run Friday ... This had been scheduled the day I took ill last week π
Here's to good health and getting back to the plan πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Happy Running all ππββοΈπ

Oh no. How disappointing for you after it being such a focus . 10k round Chester Zoo sounds fab though as an alternative, good find!We runners have to be adaptable all the time. As you say, kepp healthy, keep running.
Oh no I am sorry Sparky π£. But Iβm glad youβre feeling more like yourself π. I bet that the Chester Zoo run will be brill, though, how exciting! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
A free zoo pass - thatβs pretty good! Not quite my holiday yet, flying on Saturday, and just hoping Iβll have all my paperwork in order. Got Friday off so hoping for a longish run Friday morning. I need it! π
