Three years ago I completed my first 5k in around 35 wheezy, sweaty, grunty, ungainly minutes.
My first run of this year I completed 5k in 23 wheezy, sweaty, more grunty and threw a load of swear words in last 400 meters 23 seconds...

Wow! Did you train for this specifically, or was it more from long slow runs?
Reply (1)Report
Hiya. Not train specifically for it but doing LEJOG and have started jeffing regular HMs (10 I think since sept) and try to at least once a week do an interval session or a hill session....
