So I finished my concert venue work at 11 last night, downed a pinted of lager on an empty stomach, got home at about 12 and didn't get to sleep until 1AM. (All done fully knowing I had to do a short 2 mile run this morning at 5:30AM). My alarm went off at 5AM this morning for my run and I was like, nope, not gonna happen. I figured that sleep would be my best bet instead because I am doing more concert work tonight which will mean another late night and then another 5AM start to get in my 5 mile long run before church on Sunday morning. And if I'm already sleep deprived for 2 nights, my long run will be very difficult! And I might have to make up my missed run next week some where. Safe to say, I won't be making the same mistakes I made last night again! π
