You can move runs to accommodate parkrun Do the long run on Sunday, or when you have more time. You can be flexible. It’s your plan. As long as you get the runs done. It will settle down into a routine that suits you 🙂👍

You could just carry on running after parkrun - a little rest to swipe your barcode won't matter. And of course sometimes you can take a non-running volunteering role, so you can just have your long run after that! 😊😊😊

When I was marathon training I did my long run to coincide with start of parkrun to finish the last 3 miles off. Could try that and see if it works for you.

This is why I've volunteered more often than run parkrun!
I'm still in the stage of wanting a PB every time I do parkrun - using it to start a long run or to end a long run isn't really compatible.
Not sure how I get out of that mentality cos it sounds rather stupid when I write it down 🙄🤣
