I am new to this website so not quite sure how they work, so please bear with me. I have Glaucoma and ARMD in both eyes. I had an operation last Xmas on both my eyes as my presssure was high. Since that time I now have dry macular in my right eye and wet macular in my left eye causing distortion. I would love to talk to people in a similar situation to myself.

Thankyou Joanah

Hello Joanah,

If you call the Macular Disease Society Helpline 0300 3030 111 they can tell you where your nearest support group is and they can put you in touch with the volunteer group leader. You can then find out the time and place of the next meeting so you can meet others in similar circumstances.

There is a map of the group locations at the following link;

maculardisease.org/groups.a...

There will probably be people who attend the groups who have glaucoma as well.

I hope that this is helpful.

Best wishes

Andy

Please can you give us a commentary on the Royal College of Ophthalmologist guidelines on intravitreal injections when they have finished reviewing and updating them?

My clinic do not fully comply with the current version so I am interested to see what changes may be made. Thank you.
