My father became blind with Macular Degeneration of the Retina and I have small spots of dry degeneration in both eyes. Also like my mother I have Glaucoma which is being treated effectively with eye drops. I take prescribed antioxidants daily for the macular. At my last hospital visit it was suggested that I take the antioxidants alternate months instead of all the time, as my condition is stable. I would like advice on this alternate months of antioxidants please.
