has anyone tried valeda light therapy for dry macular degeneration. I have wet macular in my left eye and very limited sight following a sub macular haemerage after an injection and geographic atrophy in my right eye eye. I am considering the treatment following an article in the macular society magazine. I would appreciate the views of anyone with experience of this. Many thanks

Is that a red light therapy? If so yes..am doing that. There was a small trial for dry macular degeneration that was positive. So "seeing"how it goes.

Hello Poppieagain,

I have copied a link to our webinar regarding Valeda (Tim Jackson, ophthalmologist):

Plus, Ian Pearce, ophthalmologist, gave a talk which included the subject of Valeda at our September 2024 Annual Conference:

The above may also be useful to you.

We have had little feedback from callers on Valeda.

Kind regards,
