I went fit my 5th tiund if injections tiday and the ophthalmologist told me that the treatment is working well and the the area in the centre of the macular is dry, but there is still fluid above and below. He mentioned this is harder to resolve, so .I will stay on 2 monthly injections for the time being. Has anyone else been told this and does anyone know why it’s harder to resolve the fluid above and below the macular?
I still see the black ‘blob’ in the centre of my field of vision in both eyes in low light situations and a grey patch in centre of vision in left eye.
Things have definitely improved though, just now confused why the remaining fluid is difficult to fix.
