You shouldn t feel ashamed it's natural to feel that way and each of us is different what is going on in each of us lives ...its human to feel that way some people have a front and don t always say how tbey feel as it might dhow vulnerability ... we can t all be always happy clapy I personally think it's normal to have those moments and feel comfortable expressing without shame...trying to find ways to deal with tbese moments and have support is best tban feel a shame X

Hi Patjo,

We all have had (and do still have) days when we feel low and that’s ok. I’ve had glaucoma for around ten years (diagnosed in my 40’s) and wet myopic macular degeneration for around seven. They are both possible complications of being very short sighted. The glaucoma treatment is a doddle compared to the injections for myopic CNV. Literally drops and monitoring is usually enough to keep glaucoma in check. Good luck. I know that I felt exactly as you do when the second condition was diagnosed. It hasn’t been as bad as I feared 🌷
