I cannot find an AMD society here in Washington State.

Do we have one?

The Macular Society is only a UK but it is affiliated to an umbrella organisation called the 'AMD Alliance International'.

Hi Hollyg,

You must be, like me, finding this site a great help. I have learned much here and it is so helpful to share our situations with those who understand and share our fears, struggles, successes, etc. I have also searched for a more local group but have had no success. The link below led me to an address in the next town here in NC but it was a link to a senior-living community- not an on-line group like Health Unlocked. Good luck in your search and hopefully this second mention of a desire for a US-based group will spur some productive responses for us both.

thanks mimi...nothing in WA state if I had some backing I'd start a macular society here.I've done this thing before thru the internet. If there's any interest y'all drop me an email.
