I know what u mean. Advocacy for readable govt forms will change this; we disability advocates....in the States..achieved making ALL government forms available for all sight and developmental disabilities.
i assume ur in th UK...?...i don't know if you all have accessible forms..you might give a call 📞 and tell the agency you need help 😉🍸
Hi Hollyg
Here in the UK we too have a body whose role it is to advise on forms but it seems that they either fade into the background or have no teeth when it comes to enforcing their requirements.
I intend pursuing the issue though.

There is an addition number - 0800 138 8808. This seems to be a number specifically for those with limited vision and in need of help to complete a passport form.
Hope this is all helpful.
Let us all know how you get on.
Thanks Caroline I had done a quick check and didn't come up with anything but I will follow this up.
I am interested to know how helpful the 'helplines' are. The line for those with poor sight says it has staff available to complete the form for you. I wonder if they really do ? (smile...)
