Hello, my husband was diagnosed with CLL in 2013 was W&W until Dec. 2017. He had become quite ill with large lymph nodes ( one abcessed in his neck and then was diagnosed with DLBCL (most likely richter's transformation). At that time he was diagnosed as Stage IV and we were told he would likely only have days to possibly a few weeks without the massive antibotics and the R-Chop started as soon as the results were in from the biopsies. He had 6 rounds of RCHOP and a Pet Scan showed "almost complete response"= what does that mean? Also I don't understand "likely transformation". We were told no definite test that will confirm but they do believe it is Richter's. We were also reminded by the dr he is high risk and probably nothing more can be done if - stressed "when" it returns. Last chemo was done 4/24/2018 and he still has little energy. Wonder how long after chemo it takes to get some strength back. Any advice or experience would be appreciated.
