AVN of right femoral head

Has anyone had AVN (avascular necrosis) of right femoral head or other joints?

I have had Mixed Connective Tissue Disease since 2016 that mainly affects tendons. In March of this year I woke up being unable to weight bear on my right hip. Eventually, my rheumatologist ordered an MRI and found the AVN. I have ruled out most of the causes of AVN (trauma, alcoholism, heavy steroid use, genetics) leaving me with autoimmune disease being the cause.

I have a huge(13cm) AVN of humerus I also have MCTD plus ANA positive

As it happens I have a scan on Monday to assess the damage and determine what’s next

I was diagnosed 15 years ago but following a biopsy at cancer unit I was discharged back to orthopaedics my care ended then and there

The pain has become horrendous

Have you had any treatment !

Could possibly be the vaccine causing autoimmune issues. I would check out pfizers et al latest document revealing all the side effects. Twitter is a good source of information too.

I have lupus and sjogrens for 30 years, had sepsis at 22. Many years of high rise steroids and trauma. AVN I’m both ankles so they’ve both been fused, also right big toe. Have AVN in both wrists although different bones and multiple metacarpals. It’s been a journey and a painful one. Surgery can remove the pain though. I’m coming to terms with fused wrists but not until I can’t stand it anymore.
