Saw my rhematologist this morning. Really lovely man. We spent 45 mins going through my bloods and history. Told me he's more than satisfied that everything points to lupus. He didn't want to do further bloods as satisfied with what he's got (unless becomes necessary). He's going to write to the eye hospital to check on some history, if they can find my records, and then in about 4-6 weeks start me on hydroxychloroquine. So how quick was that diagnosed for antiphospholid syndrome friday and lupus today. GP starting warfarin shortly and hydroxychloroquine in 6ish weeks. Feeling so pleased that I've been taken seriously and listened to.

Fantastic news.hydroxchlorquine can affect the eyes.i had to have my eyes tested before I could start taking it and I've got to have annual eye tests.
When I started taking hydroxchloroquine I had a bad head every day for about a month but I stuck it out and havent had any other side effects.that was 18 months ago xx
I was very relieved when I was finally diagnosed. I hope the HCQ provides some relief.
