Still undiagnosed and after MRI results of wrists, the hand surgeon has arranged a combined appointment with himself and rheumatology together but not sure why.
I've already seen the surgeon following the MRI results.
What would be the reason for this?
Thanks.

You are indeed lucky to have two consultants conferring. They are both at the top of their own speciality, but the Rheumy won't know the minutai of hand surgery & the surgeon won't know how delicate hand surgery will be affected by RA in the future but Rheumy will.
I honestly don't know...but you seem to be being very well looked after....with lots of specialities pulling together gathering information.
That is not something I have experienced...thankfully I seem settled on RTX, & only need to go to get the infusions 4 times a year....supposed to see a Consultant every six months, but I get the appointment, then they cancel, but I,see the rheumatology nurses instead & as I.mwell I.m happy with that !
