Has anyone lost their septum in their nose due to recurring flares in the nose? If so, did you get it fixed with a implant or nose fillers?

Thanks Ros. Have you ever thought about getting it repaired and was yours caused by flares.

I haven't & no: I was born with a deviated septum & it was never suggested. I have always had problems with my sinuses!Sorry I can't be helpful!

Be well!

I had septum issues a lot about 7 years ago. I developed lots of sores in my nose due to a lot of oxygen use which eventually led to a hole in my septum. I went to a ENT specialist and he put a plastic button in my nose to cover the hole and since then I've never had another issue with it, best thing I ever done. It definitely benefited me. Hope this is of some help to you!

Yes thank you. Very helpful. Did it hurt getting the button? Did you need anaesthetic and did healing take a long time?

Not what you're looking for?
