Sorry to hear that. Do doctors say there is anything that can be done to give you a better chance of carrying full term. My mom had 4 miscarriages before I was born.

Very sorry for your loss. Don't give up, I too had 4 miscarriages, but now have 4 girls. I sincerely understand your pain.

How sad you must be feeling. Does your GP know about these miscarriages? You should talk to him or her about being referred for specialist investigation. It could be a genetic or a physical problem and both can be sorted out.

Hiya, thanks for all the replies! I just feel do helpless. I am a paediatric oncology nurse and I had to give it up cos it was breaking my heart. My last miscarriage resulted in a d&c where the Drs said that everything looks ok. I can't take much more! Xxxx

Welcome to LUpus Patients Understanding & Support (LUPUS) at HealthUnlocked.

I am very sorry to read this and cannot imagine the pain and distress you are going through. I was wondering whether the doctors have determined the cause of your miscarriages and whether anyone has mentioned the antiphospholipid antibody (Hughes) syndrome, which is one of the major causes of miscarriages?

We also have another website called the LuPUS Message Board where you can also post questions and talk to other people. Registration is FREE and we offer free information and free online psychological support. We specialise in psychological support with our own counsellor/psychotherapist available.

By becoming a Member, you will have access to the private forums and because they are private, only Members have access and even bots and search engines are forbidden.

When you register, please use the following format for entering your date of birth: nn-nn-nnnn where n=number. Please use the "-" separator and not "/".

Finally, please go to: lupus-support.org/LuPUSMB and Sign Up.

I look forward to talking with you more!

Sometimes we need to talk to people who understand and who are not family or friends.

With good wishes,

Ros

My fiancé says that things will get better, I don't see it!

You are understandably very distressed. This is very raw and you cannot be expected to ignore the grief you are feeling. It sounds as if your fiancé wants to support you and I am sure he is also very sad. Is there someone, a counsellor, you can talk to? You can always email me: roz [at] [lupus-support] [dot] [org] [dot] [uk]

I am very sorry for your loss.

With good wishes,

Ros
