I think it depends on the health of the individual, my mum had chemo at 80 - but it was more staggered than it would have been in a younger person. I would ask the doctors, I don't think there is an age limit. Hope all goes well for you.
Hi Katw....Many thanks for your information that the treatment was more staggered due to your mum's age. I am waiting an appointment for the scan so I will have some idea what is possible. By the way I am aged 87 years but being the new old timer on the block got a bit confused on one message and lost four years.
