Does anyone know if you need to get a fit to fly certificate after having a lobectomy?

Not too sure there. I had to get such a letter from my doc after having chemo and r/therapy. I mentioned to someone previously, that my RBS account gives free life long travel insurance at no extra cost. All I needed was the fit to fly letter, which no-one wanted to see. Good luck. :)

I had a thoracotomy in March last year and flew 4 months later, just had a letter from my gp to say I was fit to fly.

Hope that helps
