There are many articles promoting the use of over the counter supplements.

Supplements as mentioned in the linked article, do not undergo rigorous trials like the clinical treatments for cancer. So if this is something that people decide to take, please be aware of this and also speak to your cancer team.

Clinicians are often happy about people taking supplements so long as they know what they are and they do not interact with the prescribed treatments. Supplements can cause negative interactions with conventional treatments as essentially they are drugs.
