Second Opinion

Morning,

My sister got an NHS referral from her GP in Devon and we had her Fast Tracked to the Specialist Unit in Wythenshaw near Manchester. Saw two separate Oncologists. All tests done within a week and diagnosis and treatment options discussed and agreed with a start date. Staff cheerful and helpful. Fantastic.

Ring them direct and ask for their advice - second opinions can easily be requested and granted.

In Devon it would have taken 3 weeks to see specialist and then tests. The wait is too long and too traumatic.

Daignosis and Treatment different in different parts of the country. North West is excellent.

Hope this helps and good luck.
