I've been doing some research on Oncologica - oncologica.com/
and their OncoFocus tests "...The Oncofocus test detects DNA mutations unique to a person’s cancer and matches them with the appropriate targeted therapy thereby allowing your doctor to prescribe the most effective treatment minimising unnecessary side effects"
Has anyone any experience with these tests? Or those done by similar companies?
The tests are not cheap but woud be prepared to do so in conjunction with my partner's current treatment protocol.
Thanks & best wishes to all.

if you are in the UK (NHS) certain tests will be done on the biopsy to find out if there are any mutations for which they have targeted therapies, they also test for PDL1 which gives a score as to how likely immunotherapy will help.
Glad the tests have been done, hopefully you'll have results soon. Maybe discuss Oncologica tests with the oncologist at next appointment to see if you would be obtaining anything more.
Hi Gary
I did look into this but two separate oncologists didn't seem impressed I think if you fancy it give it a go! I am currently looking into repurposed medicines e.g. Metformin statins I believe they are available from a clinic in London Also looking into mistletoe and Vitamin C infusions These are available at a clinic in Lewes East Sussex also a treatment called (I think) Hypothermia The idea is if the cell walls get heated they are more likely to respond to treatment I would like to hear if anyone had tried any of these. I have an appointment to see if I am suitable for any of these treatments I hope I am as willing to try anything
