Anyone who has been diagnosed with lung cancer with the ALK mutation or their family or carers is welcome to join. It’s a very supportive and empathetic group which also has lots of information about the lastest research from around the world.

This group as well as the world wide group has given me so much knowledge about the disease and the best treatments for combating it. Some of the best drugs are not yet approved by NICE but there are still ways of getting them here as I have done. I am stage 4 but now clear of cancer in lungs and brain. I can play three sets of singles at tennis again without feeling exhausted. This group has helped me not to feel alone with this illness but I now feel positive about the way forward.

I agree with you. I have found the same. It seems to be the best place to meet other people who are ALK Positive and to find out about new treatments. Also to get support and be supportive of other people in a similar situation
