Hello Parand

Sometimes people have side effects either from treatment or from the cancer itself. It will depend on where the tumour was, whether your mum had surgery or perhaps chemotherapy. If her pain is affecting her daily life it is worth arranging to see or speak to her Lung Cancer Nurse Specialist who may be able to make some suggestions as to how to reduce the pain, whether they can find the cause and help her manage.

If you do not have the details of her nurse we can provide these on our helpline, or by email. Call Freephone 0333 323 7200 option 2 or email info@roycastle.org

best wishes
