A safe page for lung cancer patients unable to give up tobacco or those tired of being blamed for their cancer. No stigma.

Tobacco has been described as more addictive than heroin or crack.  Many of us tried without success to quit.  For many, even a lung cancer diagnosis is not enough to help beat the addiction.

Lung cancer patients who’ve been unable to quit need a place they can go to discuss symptoms and treatment without fear of being blamed, shamed and stigmatized for their cancer.  For that reason, I’ve started a new Facebook page just for lung cancer patients who continue to use tobacco. If this describes you, please join me.

( You won’t get that here either It’s good to have an alternative)

Good morning! I run r/lungcancer and r/lungcancersupport on reddit. This looks like a great resource to add for my members. Problem is that I do not have facebook activated at this time. Could you tell me the exact name of the group (either here or message me here or email: siberia@gmail.com or on reddit as @walkinghorse). Thanks so much! This sounds like a great resource for many of my fellow lung cancer survivors.

The exact name of the group is:

Lung Cancer? Can’t Quit? No Stigma or Shaming Allowed.

I will also send a PM.

Thank you Denzie! I will add it to our sidebar in both reddits this afternoon. Fortunately not a group I need but I did have a heck of a time quitting over a decade ago. The no stigma and shaming is so important.
