Hi Joaniez,

I'm sure someone will reply here, but if not, I coordinate the phone buddy program ( a peer to peer mathching program) at GO2 Foundation and I have a couple volunteers who are in remission after 2 years on Keytruda. If you live in the United States and you are interested in being matched, feel free to call our Helpline at 1-800-298-2436

HI Joaniez, I'm not at two years but know I will be soon. I am at 19 months now Keytruda and feeling wonderful. Have had no growth or new turmors (have three large all different lobes) since starting in September 2019.

Is the Dr stopping the Keytruda at two years?

She has not said anything about dropping it yet. However I have been reading that a lot of people stop at two years. I just signed up with the Keytruda website. I got a whole box from Merch about Keytruda. They have a question place on the website and I was actually going to ask this question to them. I should be doing this in the next couple days and will let you know what they say. Karen in Minnesota

Hey Joaniez, I had my Keytruda Tuesday and asked my doctor what plan was at two years. She feels "why stop a good thing". She also said she does discuss with her patients the option of stopping but recommends to keep going. Some of her patients do take a break she said but she does not recommend it. I told her I agree with her and will keep going with Keytruda after two years if still stable.
