Clubbing can be an indicator of a dozen or so conditions or diseases and this should be reported to your doctor right away. Usually it develops as a result of low oxygen levels most commonly related to cancer or heart disease. Here’s a list of conditions or diseases that cause clubbing.

Lung cancer

Interstitial pulmonary fibrosis

Lung abscess

Pulmonary tuberculosis

Pulmonary lymphoma

Congestive heart failure

Infective endocarditis

Cyanotic congenital heart disease

Bronchiectasis

Cystic fibrosis

Other types of cancer, including liver, gastrointestinal or Hodgkin lymphoma

Inflammatory bowel disease

Liver cirrhosis

Gastrointestinal neoplasms

Celiac disease

Dysentery

Graves' disease

An overactive thyroid gland

Please let us know what your doctor says.

Went to dr on Friday. He said it’s not harmful to have fingers that club. It might be thyroid since I’m on thyroid meds since I was on keytruda and it could be I’m missing a right lung but it is not lack of oxygen because I’m breathing 96 to a 98 and not coupling and breath great so it might reverse but my dr was not concerned. What a relief

So glad it was not a life threatening cause. You deserve a break. And some good news.
