I know it has been awhile since I have been on here. I've been doing ok, but still coping with the loss of my dad. Some days are harder than others.. and I miss him more than I could ever explain- but I know he is always with me. I still pray for all of you on here, and want to remind you to stay strong! You are all warriors in my eyes. Watching what my dad went though was so hard...but I can't imagine the pain he felt. Remember, every person is different, every case is different and every cancer is different. Take care of yourself. Stay strong, don't lose hope and pray. It's always in Gods hands. You can do this!
With love,
Lisa

Thank you for your words of support. I often felt that this nasty disease called cancer is harder on loved ones than on the patient. You were such a wonderful support for your dad, which was the best present you could ever have given him. Know that he truly appreciated it and that he loved you.
Keep that wonderful, loving attitude and I hope some of the pain you continue to feel at his loss lessens with time.
Lisa, I am so very sorry for your loss, but grateful that you know your Dad is always with you!
Thank you for your prayers for those of us who are keeping up the fight. Every petition to God is a blessing! You are a shining beacon. The grief you feel so accutely now will eventually lessen, but it will never go away. Please focus on the great and wonderful memories you have with your Dad! My best friend of 35+ years passed last year, and I promise you time will change the agony you feel now into joyous memories - I still look for Jean and catch myself turning to talk to her. I choose to keep the memories alive and not focus on when she was so ill - that wasn't her.
