Does anyone have any ideas for treating terrible stomach cramps. The new medicine my daughter is on affects her this way. Sometimes it's only the cramps other times it's vomiting and diarrhea. She has meds for the nausea. Thanks in advance for ideas

Phenergin is what always worked for me when nothing else does, and it let me rest when I had stomach problems associated with anxiety.

What new "med" is she taking that is causing the cramping? It may be something the needs to be reported to her Oncologist? I'm on "Opdivo" (Immunotherapy) and had problems with very intense cramping and GI issues, my Oncologist prescribed "Lomotil" -- However, I also needed to be monitored to be certain it was not "Colitis" as that can be a side effect of Opdivo.

I think it's best to call her MD and talk to them about these symptoms -- just to be safe - we ALL are on different meds and what works for one, may not work for all, plus it could be something that may contradict with other meds she may be on!

Best of luck...

Have you tried peppermint essential oil? It can be injested or rubbed on the stomach area....

Yes. She has rubbed it on stomach and it has helped. I didn't know it could be ingested. Do you mix it with DCO? How many drops of peppermint?

Yes, you can mix 3-4 drops in 1/4 cup of coconut oil & take a tsp. when you need it
