Does anyone of you girls manage to play golf? I'm finding that playing even a few holes makes my arm swell.

Hi, I don't play golf but do yoga, swimming and zumba and wear my sleeve and glove for the yoga and zumba and sometimes an old one for swimming though the water pressure does much the same job. Maybe you could have a word with your lymphoedema specialist as maybe your sleeve isn't being effective enough or fitting incorrectly? Good luck as it's very frustrating if you can't do what you enjoy and golf is good exercise.

I have an electric trolley for 13, but get a buggy for 18. I do think that the Herceptin doesn't help as it make extra body water. I have regular mld at clinic. Thanks for your reply.

I am a golfer unfortunately don't play that often as I would like.

During my teens and twenties I truly believe the golf was the thing that prevented me from having problems with my lymph. Once I stopped playing regularly my legs got really bad.

Golf helps so much more than just your legs and arms as it works the core muscles in your tummy which are essential to good health. Try as much as possible to walk and see if you can get more of a body suit compression.

If you persist long term you'll see improvement.

I still try to hit a 100 balls as often as possible at the range.

Good luck with your handicap
