My son who is 16 who has cp to the left side has been getting up every morning if not every second morning and right to the wash room throwing up than icepick headache to follow.Has anyone else has a problem like this..I am waiting on a appointment for a MRI...

Hi Juanita257,

I am so sorry to hear that your boy is suffering like this. I am purely speaking from experience with my 7 year old that has left hemi. He also constantly woke up with a headache and feeling sick and it turned our that he was having seizures in his sleep. An EEG has recently been confirmed epilepsy. This may not be the case for your son but worth looking into.

Thanks for responding..My sons is also left side is what affected..My daughter who works with disabled kids and adults thinks he is also having seizures..Waiting on appointments to get thinks checked suck..I really wish you all the best with your son also..

Hi Jackie thanks so much for your concern..After a few phone calls he well be getting a CT scan on Friday morning and got him set up with school counsellor just in-case it is just stress.. I am this gives us lots of answers..
