Thank you for taking time out to reply to my post, it really helps to know that we are not facing all this alone.
The CMDU doctor did eventually get in touch yesterday afternoon and is going to be calling back today. Yesterday he said that my husband does qualify for the antivirals but as his symptoms are mild he suggested that he should probably not need them owing to the side effects than they can also cause.
Left us very confused at the end of the conversation. We will see what happens with the follow up call today.
