Great news at last

I have today been diagnosied with Lipoedema/lymphodema in my legs and arms. The treatment is going to be long. It's taken a long time to go on so it's not coming off quickly. I have to go back to my doctor to get funding. If he will not or cannot help me I will have to pay privately. I have no idea how I will be able to pay. We are talking about 1 to 2 thousand pounds. I will keep going until my money runs out and hope enough of my fat/water will have gone that I can at least get into normal sizes. I will keep you up to date as it happens.

Please let us know how you are getting on. My dr said that funding can be applied for an op through the nhs. It's on an individual assessment basis. I hope you get the help you need.
