Hi, I’ve been on 2.5mg LDN for almost a month now, and after the first week of taking it at night and being awake the whole night, I’ve switched to morning. I’ve read that switching back to night may be worth a try once my body is used to it, so I might do that.
However my questions right nOw are on dosing and when/how you know it’s working and you’ve got the right dose.
I have severe Renaulds, chronic fatigue and most like lupus and certainly have seen some improvement in my joint movements, decrease in inflammation and energy levels but certainly I still have bad days and then ok days. When and how will I know I’ve kinda reached the full benefit of LDN and how do I know if the dosage should be increased?
I have a dr appt on Tuesday and just want to be as informed as possible before I go in and we discuss it. Thanks!

I have uctd, with raynauds, chronic fatigue and lupus-like/RA symptoms.
I've been taking LDN for 5 months now. Started at 0.5mg titrating up by 0.5mg every two weeks, working up to the recommended dose of 4.5mg for auto-immune issues, been at this dose for approximately 2 months.
I take sub-lingual drops with no fillers and the doctor who prescribed them advised taking in the morning. I've had no side effects at all.
I still get bad days and flares but I'm definitely feeling the benefits, far less pain, generally many more 'good' days.
An added bonus is that my hair is much fuller and growing well.
I was told to stay on this dose for at least six months to evaluate whether it's working.
As to whether it's the best dose for you, I imagine there'll be more experienced users who can advise you. Is it a possibility that you started on a dose which was too high for you?
Hope your appt with your dr goes well - I have yet to let my GP or rheumatologist know.
Must admit that I'm slightly worried about telling the latter as he didn't seem to think that LDN could work for so many different health conditions.
I'm hoping that when he sees me, he'll be able to see the obvious improvement!
Hope you continue to get some much needed relief from LDN xx
