Hi! Do you you the cause of the neuropathy? I have severe Renault’s and that is most likely the primary cause of my neuropathy, with other underlying autoimmune disorders also at play. So essentially my neuropathy in the hands, feet and face is caused by circulation issues, however there is not severe damage to my nerves. That being said, I am using other treatments for short term treatment and relief of the neuropathy caused by Renault’s, however so far the LDN seems to also be playing an important role in reducing the neuropathy and keeping it in check so I am hoping to reduce or even eliminate the use of other treatments long term with the use of LDN.

Hello ! Thank you so very much for your reply of hope ! I am sorry for our mutual affliction.

I have not tested the source of my neuropathy. However, it sounds just like yours. Your email is a tremendous blessing of hope for me to pursue LDN.

Wishing you continued good luck !

I so very much appreciate your letting me know the truth of what LDN can do for peripheral neuropathy. The reviews for PN and LDN have been very limited elsewhere .

Have a blessed day !

Thank you for giving me hope !

I’d definitely try to get a diagnosis, because some neuropathy can signal things like diabetes and a host of other disorders and can cause serious and irreversible damage. However with Renault’s (worth looking up and seeing if it fits your symptoms) there is a lack of blood flow to the peripherals, and then a rush of blood back in so I get the numbness then the nerve pain. It really sucks but at the same time, there are a lot of more damaging things it can be so I guess I try to be grateful. In addition to the LDN my dr has me put nitroglycerin ointment around my wrists and ankles twice a day to help with the circulation and it has definitely decreased the neuropathy and makes it so I can exercise a bit, which helps even more. Plus staying hydrated really matters for me. I hope this helps- even if this isn’t applicable to you, at least know that with some research and some proactive patience there are ways to find relief.

Good morning !

I have had this for many years. It started as tingling in my feet and lips about thirty years ago after i gave birth. It progressed slowly. However, seemed to advance in the last ten years and more in the last five years to where i have great dufficulty after traveling anywhere for any length of time painwise.

I walk my dog 4-5 times a day and i have a platform electric oscillating machine for circulation. I have tried acupuncture which gave me much greater pain across the toes . So i discontinued that. I checked my A1C recently, 5.6, still normal and borderline pre diabetic. I have gained almost ten pounds this year from inactivity and eating more because of the laying down alot. I gained nine pounds the year before that. Thats another reason i dont want to try drugs like gabapentin where you gain 15 pounds first year and have heard stories of people gaining an average of 60 pounds. That would take me right into diabetes.

I am turning 65 very soon and will probably be testing my health thoroughly then, as we are covered in expenses here in USA with Medicare then. Are you from UK , USA , other ? I have not had the funds or means to go to doctors. I have been basically incapacitated a long time.

I read about modes of health therapy almost constantly. I have tried many OTC aids too and take them today...alpha lipoic acid, off and on benfotiamine, curcumin off and on, extra magnesium, N acetyl cysteine, Naturelo organic multi vitamins....plus more things ive started and stopped, like Palmitoylethanolamide, carnosine, serrapeptase...cant remember them all right now.

How long have you been on LDN, how long did it take to notice some relief and what level did you start at for how long and how did you titrate it ? What level dose are you comfortable on now?

This information will.help me alot. I also have the curculation numbness problems at times. I feel grateful too, as i realize this could be much worse. Ive been battling this so long and i feel ive done well. But, i am feeling i am slowly losing as it gets worse.

Every time i start something new, my hope skyrockets !

Thank you so much!

I have this in my feet, most pronounced, and legs, hands, somewhat starting in arms, also in face, lips, gums, across bridge of nose and cheeks.

I am very excited to get relief !

Going for a walk now.

You made my day...and probably, my life !

Take care.
