Hello!

We hope you are all staying safe and finding ways to stay happy and positive and during these unpredictable times.

Since the beginning of the year we have been working alongside three communities to help build some exciting new programs and thought this was a good opportunity for us to share our creations with you!

What is an eLearning program?

HealthUnlocked programs are self-paced online courses designed to support community members with expert-written information. Not only are they a great way to connect your community to other resources and services you offer, but also, programs help enhance the ethos of the community.

As a team we believe that programs create a space for trusted, yet digestible information to reach the members to help them feel more 'in the know' about what they are going through. Offering an educational tool for your members to work through, individually, provides an opportunity for them to learn more about their health condition, fostering a sense of mastery, an instrumental aspect to any health journey.

Sharing these programs with you enables us to showcase another stream that you and your community may wish to explore.

To gain more insight into how you could implement a program into your community we have linked the following programs we have launched this year for you to look at:

Atrial Fibrillation (AF) and You: healthunlocked.com/programs...

Age related Macular Degeneration: healthunlocked.com/programs...

Coping with OCD during the COVID-19 outbreak: healthunlocked.com/programs...

We hope that you enjoy looking through our latest programs!

If you think that this is something that you want to create for your community please do get in contact with us, either at support@healthunlocked.com or by filling out the following form: about.healthunlocked.com/cr...

All the best of health to you!

Hello Saskia, I think that this is really good and will benefit many members so I'm interested in how we can explore e-learning programs on our groups. As I can see it being very interesting to many me included, so thanks for this great initiative.

Jerry. 😊

Hi Saskia, what a good idea I think they will be popular with the members of BLF. I used to help run e-learning programmes when I worked in local government. Do you have a list of e-learning programmes to choose from or are you just starting them up?

Patsy 😀

TOO CLUNKY!

What is the cost of these programmes?

I note that they are US based, Is there any intention to bring forward UK based Programmes to reflect the needs of UK based folk?

Cheers, Midori

May I make a suggestion of another topic that really could do with coverage?

Iron.

In my community, Thyroid UK, and across many others (I often see posts on Pernicious Anaemia Society) the subject of iron-deficiency crops up time after time.

It can be complex. It is important. It affects people with almost every other disorder (except haemochromatosis! - for which there is healthunlocked.com/haemochr... ).

Yet we have nowhere within HU to point members.

I have lost count of the number of times we have been asked "What is ferritin?").

Not what you're looking for?
