It is extremely humbling for us to be able to share another year with all of you. For me personally, it's been really nice getting to know you a little better, by allowing me to share your stories with the wider community on HealthUnlocked. I don't have a story for you today, just a video we made to wrap up our 2019. Have a look here: youtu.be/lyVpOucIt9w
A special thank you to each and every one of you. HealthUnlocked would not be what it is without its members, so thank you for being part of it and for supporting others with your stories.
We'll continue with People of HealthUnlocked in the new year - so if you would like your story featured here, please do get in touch with me at communications@healthunlocked.com.
Until then, have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

So impressive MarketingHU and such an inspiration .. keep up the good work and my love and best wishes to all concerned. May 2020 bring you all you wish yourselves. x
Wow! I can hardly believe another year is ending! It has been so wonderful to come to HU every day, keep in touch with you dear people, and discover new friends. You’ve been great at coordinating all of this Leilah, thank you.
I recently was thinking about women who are quadriplegic, and yet managed to write books about their life just blinking their eyes at a computer screen, letter by letter. using just their eyes. I am so blessed to be able to get about, although on knees that remind me now and then that they are not to be trifled with!
Wish all of you a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year. Keep well, be positive and love yourselves. Lakshmi
Ringing in the New Year is cause for celebration, for spending time with friends and family, and for looking back. A lot can happen in a year and between the good, the bad, and the ugly, this may seem like an understatement for most. As glasses are raised and fireworks explode into the sky, it’s important to recognize the special symbolism this holiday brings with it. A time of new beginnings and fresh starts also comes with a time of reflection. Whether your resolutions consist of keeping your hands out of the cookie jar or giving your heartfelt word to work on relationships with loved ones, it can take work. And it can make all the difference to put these hopes into words and warm wishes. Seeing is believing.
Everyone has been so wonderful during 2019 and the support that is given to people from all walks of life is exceptional and emotional at times.
Could you please give the exact address of Thyroid UK please as I decided I would go in and look at something I can't remember what it was and it was awhile back and the old address doesn't exist anymore - so finally when I did get through It was called Thyroid UK and it was a website run by the medical profession so I was giving people the original address and now they would go straight to the doctors columns.
So I would appreciate it of you can inform me please - so I can give people the correct address. Also I do hope you all have a wonderful Xmas and a Very Very Happy and Healthy New Year for 2020. JS
Thank you, Leilah! Thanks to admin. Staff, at HU, and the many contributors, who have helped me get through one of the most challenging years of my life. Frankly, at times, I didn’t think I could take any more bad news, and meet the challenges that faced me, and my family, this year. I could always turn to friends at HU, and be inspired to continue on, to get through the tragedies, and serious illnesses my family and I have had to deal with this year! The support I have gotten, from others on HU, has been so helpful, and I appreciate each and every contributor, who I’ve had the good fortune to inter-react with! So, a big thank you to all of you, and wishing everyone Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year!
A heartfelt thank you Leilah and to all at Health Unlocked. Having been diagnosed with Post PV MF some months back, and feeling very worried about my future and pretty uninformed about my condition I have derived such comfort and reassurance by reading Health Unlocked every morning. Not only stories similar to mine but a wide range of experiences and symptoms shared by all MPN sufferers. I have learned so much (especially through the great contributions by Socrates/Steve) and been so heartened by the kindness and support shown throughout.
Happy Christmas to all and tons of good health for 2020! 🎄👏🎅🎄
I would’ve been totally lost without your advice etc, it’s helped me through bad times not just physically but mentally too. Have a great Christmas and a very happy new year to you and all of the members 😀😀

Been having heart issues for 10 years and now only now getting pain with episodes so I purchased an Emay heart monitor, please may I ask how reliable you think they are ? Here are examples of readings whilst o had what I called blip with chest pressure , I was also diagnosed with having a TIA yesterday and refereed to Tia clinic I think the heart episodes caused the mini stroke. Sorry can’t attach the readings which said tachycardia and ST elevation: drs I see said not accepting any home monitor ecg unless it’s there own ecg monitor reading. There ecg said tachycardia but ST depressions not elevation ? Want to ask about this please
